Whenever we were in the area we were always there and very satisfied ... last Sunday we were back after a long time ... We were disappointed, everything seems a bit neglected. And the service seemed overwhelmed, even though there were only a few guests ... our order was forgotten. The ice cream was very good, only the fruit ... doesn't work, apple and plum pieces ...

Order was initially forgotten. Service wasn't up to the rush. When the food came one portion was missing. There was only a soft apology, but no friendliness from the service. The food was ok, but not a highlight.

The food was average. But the service could be improved a lot. At first they completely forgot our order. Then 1 meal came out too little. In addition, unfriendly staff.

It doesn't get any more unfriendly. Immediately turned away at the door with the words "no more guests today, we are full" Half the dining room was empty. I paid for the hotel with my solos :(

We are always very happy to be guests, the food is very tasty. We especially like the ice cream, it's super tasty, in-house production!

Staff friendly and competent, have borrowed bikes, for my 7 year old granddaughter we got one from private property, which I thought was great, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to take a tour, the costs were more than accommodating and the food and ice cream were delicious . Tourists, it's worth a break and as I've seen there are rooms for rent there too, so form your own opinion.

It should be the best day in a lifetime. Unfortunately the waitress was in a bad mood and apparently overwhelmed with the wedding party (16 people) The champagne reception was unfortunately not for everyone. Furthermore, we had previously made a selection of dishes, with the consultation that there are one or two exceptions possible. When someone wanted fish soup there was a negative reaction from the waitress. There was also no internal agreement as to which dishes were selected beforehand by us, so we first had to show the waitress the menu. Furthermore, individual requests, such as fried potatoes with the schnitzel, were not taken into account. Although the order was taken with the assurance that fried potatoes could be served with it. Unfortunately, ice cream in a waffle was also not possible. Shortly before 9 p.m. the question came up who was paying and that was the end of the evening. Nevertheless the table under the pavilion was nicely decorated and the food was good. All in all okay, but better not for a wedding party again.

We were only 4 days in Canow, but there was a need to eat there every night. It tasted delicious and there were enough portions. The staff was always super friendly and very quick. We would like to come again.

Food was delicious. The ice cream is an insider tip, homemade and sensationally good. Location beautiful.

Food was delicious, service staff was very nice and helpful with one exception, unfortunately with one exception. The rooms and beds are very cozy and clean, the only major criticism are the towels. the washing machine can be cleaned or exchanged, the towels smell foul, you can not really offer a guest. thanks anyway for the great stay and hospitality.

Very nice and personable waitresses, eat here more often in the summer and have never been disappointed. The food always tasted great and was always very quick.

We liked it a lot. The rooms do not win a design award, but our room was large and everything was clean and in perfect order. Uncomplicated check-in - the key was brought to the parking lot on arrival :-) Breakfast was good and nice on the terrace in the sun. Gladly again.

We were traveling with our kayak and looking for the first accommodation. As we planned the first trip to the Canow lock we decided to go to the Gasthaus zur Schleuse. We were allowed to park our kayak at no extra charge with the fisherman right on the water. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were comfortable enough and clean. We were asked if we would eat there because then we should reserve a table. Said done and in the evening every table was occupied which speaks for a good quality of the restaurant. That's how it was. The fish soup, the walleye and the final pancake were awesome! Only recommended.

Very pleasant restoration with modern decor, plenty of space outside and inside. Very friendly and fast service, even with a larger group. Value for money excellent. Greetings and kudos to the kitchen at this point. Absolutely recommended.

Unbelievably unfriendly staff, tossed a stack of menus on our table and complained that we'd taken chairs from another (unoccupied) table. We were 8 people, and wanted to sit together. After 15 minutes of being ignored (the place was not full), we left.

Nice ..simple with great access to local amenities
